Important:  In order to keep the events fair to all participants, the following rules have been established. 

• Cars shall qualify for the competition based upon the rules printed herein.  No other rules shall be applicable. (NOTE: These rules supersede those furnished with the car kits). 

• The decision of the Pinewood Derby Inspection Team shall be considered final in all decisions relating to enforcement and interpretation of these rules.
• There is no limit to the number of boys that a pack may send to the race.  Everyone iswelcome! 
• It is not necessary that each pack hold its pack race before the district race
• Webelos Scouts who have crossed over during this school year may enter
• The best combined times from each car class will advance from the “Qualifying Races” to the “Championship Race”.  The schedule of events is listed to the right.

Event Rules (Race Rules attached):

• No food or drink will be allowed outside of the designated areas.
•  All cars will be turned over to the race officials at check in and will only be returned after the cars have completed racing.  Be sure to have the cars ready to go when you arrive.
• This is a Scouting event, so wear your uniform!
• Complaining is not allowed, this is a fun race and the decision of the Pinewood Derby Inspection Team is final.

• Only Youth may race
• Races are by Car Classes
• Scouts can race in multiple classes
• Siblings can race in any class
• Awards will be given for best design in each class as well as for fastest time.
